Here’s Our Story

SunSmile Photography was born from a photographer's passion of making memories & knowing just how important it is to capture all life's little moments. Behind the lens is Jo who was inspired to follow her dream by her wonderful Mum. 

I have worked as a portrait photographer for years & now have decided to branch out on my own. I have gained much experience in a variety of genres of photography, but truly adore newborn portraiture. My style is natural & relaxed poses. I work with the baby on their terms & give the time to get them settled. Everything depends on the baby so we want them as comfortable as can be. One of my mentors was Lisa Poshni with whom I had the pleasure of completing newborn photography training with. I have photographed many newborns over the years, so your little bundle of joy will be in very good hands. 

I also enjoy taking portraits of  expectant mother's Baby Bump, Cakesmash 1st birthday and Family portraits even the cute furry ones. I am delighted to have the opportunity to meet all the new families who want to capture precious moments & stages of their lives together. It truly gives me joy when clients are happy & that they enjoy the whole experience of new moments captured.
